About Me

I hold a Master’s in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor’s in American History. For over a decade, I have served as a librarian, archivist, teacher, and editor.

Most recently, I served as the Director of Archives and Special Collections at the GLBT Historical Society and, prior to that, as the Assistant Library Director for Public Services and Research Support at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

My own nerdy interests include queer and trans history, urban studies, and cultural history.

When I’m not doing secret librarian stuff, I play drums in punk bands and go for long walks.
